I tested each of the render settings twice and the results were very similar. The biggest issue with render times was with the 360° footage which took an incredible 47 minutes to render a 7-minute clip in 4K. I also tested some footage to which I had added image stabilisation. I saw render times increase by 25% from 30 minutes to 38 minutes. Software: Vegas Pro 12.0. I need to render it in the best quality possible, but on the other hand, I need it to be max. 4 GB big in size (because of DVD limitations). Could you please give me advice for best render settings and format choice?

Vegas Pro Best Render Settings Hi new member to the forum, I have been using Vegas pro since version 11(i have tried all versions up to 14) to convert old VHS tapes that had been burned on to DVDs to clean up on Vegas before ending up on YouTube, my results have varied, all my videos have sound hiss problems which i edit using the resonant filter with mixed results would i be better using sound forge pro? but it's the picture quality that i can never be sure with, I've tried all the settings from various YouTube tutorials but most people are only interested in fast rendering times and small file size, I'm not bothered about that, I want the best picture quality possible for YouTube and don't care if it takes a day to render or is a massive file as long as its within YouTube limits I'm fine with that, I'm using Samsung core i7 laptop with top specs, I've also noticed i used to get best results using Vegas 11 on a lower spec laptop compared to other versions of Vegas, what are the best templates in my case and would i be better using another software to enhance the clip before bringing to Vegas? My clips vary between 10 to 25 mins in length. Thanks.
